The moods and the moon!

I have heard it said that you can walk into a school and know when there is a full moon... I heard it, laughed it off, and gave it no more thought... until I started teaching and WOW no more laughing going on here.  As far as I know, there is no scientific reason (is there??) for the full moon sucking all the decorum out of a school full of average kiddos, but it happens.  Trust me!  I know that all my teacher friends get it, we all live it.  There is no need for a phases of the  moon calendar, just pay attention to the loss of common sense in all the kiddos that surround you, and you can probably be sure the moon is full! 

I would love to hear some stories or some affirmation here!!  Do you see the aliens sucking the goodness out of kids? Do you have unaffected kids? Just wondering....

Hello!  Welcome to my new Blog.  Wow... I have been thinking of writing a blog forever, so now I have finally decided to jump!  Hopefully, I will share some helpful ideas along the way.  I have found so much help from other teachers on the web, I hope to be able to pass that help along as well.
